Recently, I had the pleasure of co-hosting this summit along with the NC Asian Americans Together (NCAAT), the North Carolina chapter of the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs (APAPA NC), and the United Chinese Americans (UCA)! With the participation of 22 local students, animated debates, and engaging presentations, this event has been a great success! We provided students an excellent opportunity to express their views on gun control, affirmative action, and alien land laws. Not only that, students were even allowed to attend panels and discussions with state and local officials to learn more about local politics. Through this summit, we have promoted a further understanding of public affairs and our impact on our communities.
